Normally i am a fan of ABS but not on the MT09...this bike is part supermoto and by having ABS , it is may be defeating the purpose and stunting capabilities of the bike. That having been said, this bike has many roles and functions, so there is something for everyone, ABS or not .......for me...
Don't think there is anything to gain from a second re-flash from Yamaha. The latest one suits me fine...smooth, fast, and bags of fun. Anything more can only be gained from the after-market flash....sounds like a rumour generated by a 'cock womble' lol
Vegetable oil . Massage it in and it will pick away easier. The oil thins out the sticker glue. Did it with mine -use a soft cloth/sponge to gently smooth the awkward bits away.
Left my G2 Tamer on after the Yamaha flash. Tested it with and without but prefer it on...Don't notice any real difference but makes the A mode just that touch smoother..my own personal preference!
I'm sure that you are protected under the warranty. Could always get in touch with 'Watchdog' at the BBC. They love turning the screws on bad practice!
The B mode before and after re-map are exactly the same....smooth. The dealer must be some kind of Fuckwit not to test it in STD and A mode where the re-map testing would give more definitive results....he may as well just have kicked the tyres to test the pressures as well!
