Hey Mark, how is the braided full lines on the ABS? Did you notice much change in breaking?

FreakyFreak
To be honest, due to the weather not really had time to ride it in anger yet,
and i did the Brembo master cylinder and pads at the same time.
Ive also just uprated to the bigger 320mm R1 wavey discs.
All combined together they should work.
To be honest after i had my suspension done i found the front brakes alot better due to been able to use properly and the front not diving and wobbling all over the place.

I hope to be doing it with no ECU reflash, a reflash is always the best way to go if you have the funds, I will be Dyno testing it on the 14th if it all works out you guys will be the first to no.
Thanks for clarifying kev

Looks good mate, i was thinking of getting my suspension done at FTR do you recommend them i assume it changed the bike for the better...they were doing a deal for £1000 all fitted is that what you had done? Cheers, also those discs do look sweet!
Yes mate got it done in the deal price they offered
sent them my forks and they returned a week later with cartridges fitted and setup for my weight and riding style along with shock.
You can also get the Ohlins & Andreani suspension kit here on ebay even cheaper

Mark, how much were the R1 Wavy discs?
Hi Freaky
i got them 2nd hand off ebay for £100
They are like new with no marks or groves.Very lucky.
If you are after some.
They are off the 2004/2006 R1 5VY model
You will require 4 spacers for the calipers
26mm outside dia
10.1mm inside Dia opened out to 14.2mm at 1 end for a depth of 4mm
11mm long

I had mine made out of stainless steel, also you will require 4 longer 80mm caliper bolts.
Hope this helps

Hope this helps

I'm assuming your just gonna disconnect the speedo sensor off the front sprocket and rewire it so u can have a Speedo but no restrictors?

If you disconnect the Speedo sender the bike will not rev through the rev range, if you change the impulse signal to read slower there are still problems incorrect speedo reading & does not work tried that already, I will let you know as soon as I can see the mod working on the Dyno. The mod is not new idea in the biking world I am just looking at it from a different angle.
