The tube & the grip come as one, this has the cam that you will modify.

Sorry to repost but just in case it helps, I took a needle file to mine to slightly reduce the initial radius.
Very pleased with it.

This is it in standard form, what to file would be down to trial and error and personal preference. Its a 1/4 throttle by the looks so you wouldn't really want to file too much.
