The new Akra doesn't look to be street legal, can anyone confirm/deny this?

I can confirm it is EU stamped..! As Akrapovic are now the "official" suppliers to Yamaha they have to conform to all EU standards. Obviously if u take the baffle out it isn't but who wants a baffle in anyway lol. Let it breathe I say haha

Could you please detail on that and maybe send pictures? Thank you, Paulo.
Hi I've no pictures but all you need to do is
remove the baffle and cut the pipes flush to were the
Retaining bolt fits and refit it's got a sweet tone
Now without the ringing in the ears hope this helps

I prefer the look of the official Akra and the price is fair for a full system compared to other bikes I've seen.

They have the exhaust in stock but got it booked in for the 7th of April to do it in tandem with first service, I am very excited!

I'm not so sure mate, according to akrapovic's own site:

http://www.akrapovic.com/#!/motorcycle/products?brandId=41&modelId=339&programId=1&phaseId=1

The new exhaust is not EC approved, the old one is though.

I think i'm going to email Yamabits to be sure as i have secured wifely approval for an exhaust, i prefer the look of the new one but i'm still unconvinced about it's approval.

I'm not sure it's an official Yamaha part either!
