Hey Mt 09 owners
I have a Mt 09 and have same problem with the throttle..To day i tryed the new Tracer with the new fuel mapping !
Nice bike , nice handling and suspension, but it felt like it was tamed, when i tryed to ride it at max ( whellie etc )
It felt like lack of power..so my question is:
Is it the new Ecu or just me ??
What is your experience of changing to the new mapping?
Sorry for the english...

Ps suddenly the Mt 09 2014 Throttle problem seems like , and advantage !!

Tracer is different bike, different purpose so it has different mapping. Also remember that it weights a lot more than MT-09.

Hi Green
I think Yamaha made a mistake with the ECU map so it's not you.
I got a performance map (flash map) and that sorted the problem

Morning all.. The Tracer definitely has a different map to the Standard MT09.. One of the blokes on the stand at the NEC motorcycle live Show confirmed this and so has 2 local dealers..

Suppose you'll have wait until Triple Trouble gets his mitts on it.
