So my mechanic was right as he has found out the cause at the front tyre...Slime
Went for a new set of tyres and as soon as he took the wheel off he said i know what the problem is , was an obvious one i guess but didnt come to mind because i didnt know Terry had put in in there,
So new roadtec 01 fitted and its smooth as at ALL speeds now ....
Had this with several bikes, not the Tracer though. A change of front tyre has always cured it. I seem to remember Bridgestone and Contis being the worst culprits. They were also the tyres I suffered the worst scalloping on the tread edges, perhaps it's the same cause? I know it's not helpful but I only had the problem when letting go of the bars so the answer is not to let go!Heres a quick poor quality vid
Mt09 tracer wobble - YouTube
Back suspension is 2 from max hard
Front 3 rings showing and 6 clicks out
Tyre pressures 36/42
Alignment ok
Took guards off but still the same
It goes mental within about 3 seconds of taking hands off bars,
Tried it with max preloads etc its the same ,
Cant feel anything through the brake lever,
Really putting a downer on my new bike !
Any ideas please
