well finally fitted the Yamaha genuine side stand foot !! then took it straight back off !!!!!! the fitting was a nightmare I had to really bend the top plate so it didn't strip the bolt thread holes in the aluminium base trying to tighten it on , one bolt was directly under the stand bar so couldn't get an allen key in it anyway , and it didn't look that great when on !! how can a firm that makes such a great bike make an accessory that is so wank ? any way , all's well that ends well - found a better use for it as a paperweight !! nice

I had the dealer put mine on ready for collection it looks good.
Had it as part of the deal would not pay £50 for it

I bought one from R&G and it was shit. I had to file it a lot to make it fit. And two days ago, as I was pushing the bike out of the garage, I forgot to lift the side-stand and it hit the floor as it was going down the garage' small step and one of the screws of the shoe just popped off. Also, it should have been made with a small angle, as it is not flat with the surface :/
