Now this is not something I've seen anyone else write about so maybe it's just me.....
I find that when sitting back in the wider part of the seat I inevitably get tilted forward a bit after some time which gets quite uncomfortable as it pushes me onto the gentlemen's area too much over an hour...
So I spent a few minutes studying the shock and linkage area before beginning and though I wasn't sure how it'd pan out I went ahead with a plan to replace the shock without having to remove the linkage entirely or the exhaust. Removing the exhaust would have made this much easier but I didn't...
So the std battery is a YTZ10S with key figures being
weight 3.2kg
Capacity 9.1 AH
CCA 190
So to select a Lithium equivalent we should aim to match or beat the CCA rating to ensure a stress free ignition. Capacity is not so important unless you are going to draw any juice without the motor...
Unfortunately my MT didn't come with one. :mad:
2015 ABS, so I guess I need one that refers to the ABS functionality (if there's a difference)
I want this for completeness and operating the dash, I'm going to get a workshop manual too ...

Anyone fit a 520 chain and sprockets? Have references for parts?
I changed my TRX850 from 525 to 520 and saved 0.5kg, which on the fast spinning stuff was very welcome. Slightly quicker to rev. Not for A mode novices? haha

picked up a 2015 with ABS, 2k miles last week and I'm one 100 mile ride into ownership. This is the most modern bike I've owned by a good ten years or more, and it shows - what a motor!
Need to get fuelling sorted either by sending ECU away for reflash maybe here...
Not a terrific deal but I was kind of stuck for choices and it seems to be in line with what I found from dealers on autotrader, MCN, etc.
