    R&G Tailtidy + Yamaha Indicators

If anyone is wondering what combinations of tailtidys go with what aftermarket indicators and what they might look like, here's what I've done, so this might help you in your decision. I've fitted an R&G tailtidy with Yamaha LED indicators. The tailtidy looks well made, but the instructions...

Gear Downshift issues. Any ideas please !!!

I've had this a few times. When I'm lazy and don't go down from 6th or 5th when I know I'm probably going to come to a standstill and will need to be in 1st. I think I've been breaking fairly hard each time. It's happened 4 or 5 times. Each time I've stopped, I can't see on the display what gear...

    New mt?

I expect it'll be a 1l MT10. What it should be though is a new MT09 with proper mapping, suspension, a helmet lock, a pretty tail with integrated light like the MT07, a seat that doesn't crush your nads in 30 minutes, and a decent pipe as standard. But the current one is so much fun when you...

    *****aftermarket ecu flash*****

I read that flashes only smooth things out above 6000rpm? True or false? Hence, it was suggested you get the O2 for below 6k and the flash for all the other features. If you only need the flash, i.e. it smoothes out the jerkiness of the throttle at low revs too, then why are people buying both...

    ECU Flash Options Questions

Why did you do this; to remove the popping and/or engine breaking? Thanks.

    ECU Flash Options Questions

Thanks for the info guys. 1. So it seems the jury is out on whether this is more environmental. 2. So this is just to make the throttle smoother? 3. So 95 RON is the way to go, so I wouldn't choose 91 optimisation as a flash feature, and it seems weird that they offer it. 4. I'll let them do it...

    ECU Flash Options Questions

I know, I know; more stuff on flashing, sorry. I searched all over the forum but couldn't find answers to the below, so would appreciate some advice. A few questions on the various options I can choose for an ECU flash - what do they mean and why would I want it done? 1. Disable AIS valve: I...

    Fitted my ECUWEST flashed ECU

Thanks TT. Googling flash tune doesn't get me anywhere; is that the full company name, where are they based? Cheers.

Best and Worst MPG from your bike?

I get over 60mpg because I'm slow and keep it on 'B'oring mode. I'm new to bikes. I thought the dash was bust cos the eco sign never goes off. 2 weeks in so STD is on the cards soon.

What do you use to maintain your headers?

A friend with an old bike and very shiny pipes said he sprays wd40 onto a rag and wipes the pipes with it, after every time he washes the bike. This may have been to stop then rusting rather than blueing though.

    Fitted my ECUWEST flashed ECU

Has anyone used extreme creations for a flash; would be good to hear some good testimonials from people who've had the flash done by them, before i get them to do mine? I'm not fussed about more power but I'd love the throttle to be smooth.

    Best Seat?

My Shad seat arrived in about a week to Sydney from these French guys on ebay. The seat has had a few longish outings and it's fantastic; I just don't get any aches or pains any more. The extra material, density, and height at the top, tank end of the seat means you're more upright and so you...

    Heavy throttle spring

Obviously there is a variance between bikes, and it's good to remember that everyone's experience can be different, even if the parameters appear identical at first. My late 2015 model is certainly considerably heavier of throttle spring than my last bike, which was perfect, and consequently my...
