Has anyone fitted AIS block off plates ?

It's not a hard job & cleans up the popping on deceleration quite nicely. It was ok for the 1st 5 minutes but then became nothing more than wank factor. I removed the AIS & all the internals & have had no adverse effects after 9000k's

SC Project exhaust arrived, need advice.

I'm unsure what it's like in the UK, though the 1st thing I'd be doing is removing that plate. Akra pipes usually come with a lithium grease or something similar to assist in assembly.

Question for Wilbers or Nitron shock owners

I know, but all parts are easily replaced & any suspension shop worth their weight will be able to rebuild should you need it.. I went with the double clicker & couldn't be happier.

    How far does f-trip go?

Aussie servo's wont let you do this, simply won't allow the pump to run. The last excuse was .... "if you cover yourself in fuel & ride off up the road & someone flicks a cigarette butt out the window, we're liable. *cough bullshit cough* It's more of a runner risk I think.

    *****aftermarket ecu flash*****

I don't know what it's like in the UK, in AUS, any licensed mechanic can do logbook servicing which doesn't void your warranty. You just need to find someone that is reputable. Easy.

    *****aftermarket ecu flash*****

I would suspect only on faults that are caused by or related to the ECU. Or.......don't take it back to a dealer to have service work etc done. Now that Yamaha have released an update for the ECU, I'll be fucked if I'm running the risk of having my $500 overridden by some muppet apprentice in...

    Tank removal?

...or place something over the subframe, leave the hose connected, spin the tank 180 degrees & it'll sit perfectly on the rear of the bike. You'll have to disconnect the electrics though. The inner sides slot down over the plastics that have MT09 on them, that way there's one less thing to do...

    who`s flashed then?

The 1st thing I did was organise the flash. 230kph was where I decided to back out of it. That speed on this bike, is not very comfortable.Between 8-9K on the tacho, there was plenty more to get out of it, but put quite simply.... ....fuck that!
