    Hyperpro progressive fork springs

Getting tired of the front end dive under braking. Does anyone have any experience of progressive fork springs with the stock shock? Would I be better off getting stronger linear springs? I realize new cartridges and shock are the ultimate fix but if I can just reduce the brake dive I will be...

    Lost my confidence

I think the PR4s will cure you. I didn't realise how much my old dunlops were slipping until I got the PR4s fitted. What was the temperature? I found the dunlops to be much worse below 10 degrees. I wouldn't stress too much. We all have off days and at least you got back in one bit.

Yep the old screen question! But anyone tried the Puig one yet?

I have the short puig screen and it is great. Fits perfectly and reduces wind buffeting. Much better than the oem screen which was worse than no screen at all.

    Kev's "Anti throttle surge mod"!

Fitted mine at the weekend and am very pleased with the results. I have a G2, the original map and the standard exhaust. It allows you to roll the power on much earlier on the exit from bends and basically makes the whole riding experience a lot more enjoyable. Awesome service as well, Oz to UK...

    Rear sprocket thingy

Is it not there to reduce the chance of the chain locking up the rear wheel if it breaks!

    R & G heated grips

I have oxford hotgrips and a g2 tamer. It took a little modification but was not difficult. They simply wire straight to the battery and switch off when the engine is off.

    Recall!

Had mine done today at Tinklers. Bonus was they lent me an fz8 for the day, just to remind how awesome the mt is!

wierd sound/feel when using back break

I think I would remove the pads, give the calliper a clean and reassemble with a little copperslip on the pins. Could just be a build up of brake dust and crud stopping the calliper operating smoothly.

    Dealer ecu flash

Sorry for the swede spinning episode. My Toys advice is spot on. The only way to know if it is right for you is to ride one yourself. I remain perfectly balanced on the fence.

    Dealer ecu flash

I have just had an email from Tinklers in Norwich. The guy there says pulling away will be like B-MODE! He attached the letter they have received from Yamaha BACKGROUND: We have received a small amount of feedback from the market that some MT-09 owners have commented that the throttle...

    Bike before the MT09.....?

Last bike was an Fz6 Fazer which was fine but lacked the looney factor.

    Cutting out???

Mine did it once at about 400 miles. Restarted instantly on the switch and has not done it since. I put it down to over zealous pressure washing but who knows. Hopefully yours will heal itself too.

    Puig Radiator Shrouds

Yes, they sent a pair of gold and silver stickers, neither of which matched the colours on the bike.

    tyre pressures

Tried it out today. Found it made the front end unstable when accelerating out of turns or overtaking. Now back to 42R 36F more to my liking. Each to their own :)

    Puig Radiator Shrouds

They have a "carbon fibre" look which matches the Backshell I have covering the cables behind the clock. They are also available in matt black. Bodystyle make a similar thing which is colour coded but their version of Deep Armor did not appear to be a good match. As far as bulking out the front...
