First run out on the new tracer this aft and i am pleased with my choice even though i didnt go over 5000 rpm which is still 80 mph,on the bumpy twistie roads i think i could have got the tracer out of shape if i had gone much quicker, after my next ride i will have a play with the suspension as...
Hi all, I have registered as the Tracer is very high up on my list of next bike, I live in Devon, UK and am actively seeking a Tracer in any colour apart from Red (sorry to all Red bike owners), great condition and low mileage is a must and if it's got any extras then all the better, can travel...
Hi all ive test rode a tracer today and i really liked it fun fast comfortable, only complaint the seats abit hard,my question is whats the yamaha heated grips like and is there anything else worth a look at? Cheers.
Hi guys!
I was all happy that would buy a MT09-Tracer and started looking for insurance and found out on websites like gocompare and calling MCE that they won't insure me with this bike.
I though that this is a bit weird since they would insure me with bigger bikes, more expensive bikes and...
Having now got my Tracer and enjoying it very much I can't help noticing how much vibration I get through my hands. Ive always suffered a bit with numbness in the hands like most people but seem to get a lot more on the Tracer. Is there anything you can buy like special gloves or grips that...
Hi folks,
I've just taken delivery of my new Tracer today, a replacement for my VFR 800 Vtec. A wrist injury has forced me onto something slightly more upright.
Well after having a test run a couple of weeks ago I was smitten with the Tracer.
Unfortunately I couldn't quite afford a new one from the local dealer so I did some internet trawling and found one at Sutton Motorcycles in Tamworth then the fun started !
I had actually been looking for a used...
Hi everyone.
Hadn't had 2 wheels for 35 years then my wife bought me a Yamaha XJ6n for my 55th. Great bike to get back into things.
Did a few K miles on the 600 and bought myself a new 2015 MT09 Tracer with all the bells n whistles.
Loving every second of it, especially as I live in Gods'...
Just joined, getting my Tracer delivered next week and really looking forward to it.

Hi just picked up my new tracer (very nice) and was wondering if anybody out there has fitted the carbon Akrapovic exhaust? I took it off my MT09 and want to fit it to the Tracer, I know its possible but you have to remove the centre stand. With the Akrapovic you get a spacer to fill the gap...
Wanted – Ventura “L” Brackets (and also the Ventura “Pack Rack” if possible) for the Yamaha Tracer. I may also be interested in a Ventura luggage bag to fit these, as mine is getting a wee bit tired these days !! Cheers, Fletch
Hi Everyone,
Does your Tracer need a little something up front to stop the underside of your headlights getting dirty ?
Do you want to give your Tracer a new aggressive look ?
Well if the answer to both of these questions is YES, then look no further than the NEW beak from Powerbronze...
Had the Krauser cases on my previous bike so I started with the K-wing fixed to the Yamaha standard top case rack.
Then I modified some bars for the panniers.
Without the Krausers it doesn't look very obtrusive, like the GIVI racks.
Hi all
My name is Steve and I have to come clean and admit that I have been riding BMWs on the road for the last ten years.
Now that I've got that out the way, I can say that after a recent test ride on a Tracer I was hooked.
I already have two BMW GSs, an 1150 & a 1200, and had considered...
