I also did a supermoto school, also had a ktm, also had a vstrom and did exactly the same. The mt 09 would be great to do it with too.. but the abs kicks in way too fast, even if I gently touch it shift down twice etc etc.anyway, it's just a bit bothersome.
Hey Guys,
I would really like to turn off the ABS on the rear wheel, I personally just like sliding around supermoto style a bit. Do you think it is possible?
I suggest you fit dunlop roadsmart 2's front and rear. The turn in point will be even sharper. The pr4's are really not that good with cornering and speedy things
It was a shop job by hyper pro themselves. The only thing I did was add two clicks on the rear. In my opinion it is spot on for riding back roads. I tend to jump over speed bumps and it never bottoms out or launch me off once I landed again. Search hyperpro on this forum to see my full "report"...
Just came back from a ride from Amsterdam to Slovenia with only mountain passes. 3000km down the line I must say this upgrade is impeccable. Enjoy the suspension :). and when you sell your bike again down the line make sure to sell the shock separately. I have a feeling it will be pretty profitable.
I swapped my KTM SMT for the MT 09. The SMT starting leaking oil and the KTM was costing me too much on maintenance already.. Miss the height of the KTM and suspension but the mt 09 is surprisingly comfy.
Dna it sounds like you are behind this. It is just to clear. If you want your product to sell also sell ecu updates this whole thread is just bullocks. Sorry to bust your balls sales person but leaning out even more is just complete bs.
Did a hard ride today. Suspension is in my opinion the best upgrade. My front wheel has almost no more chicken strips. Now I still need to do a two up ride and see how it feels.
Engine runs at 90 degrees instead of it's usual 80. A mode is more controllable. I am turning it down a bit though. Every traffic light I was hitting 106 degrees.
not sure if I did this correctly but I can set my mt-09 (dutch) CO settings way higher than 14. It goes into triple digits.. Set them to 14 though. Did not have a chance to go for a ride yet.
Is 14 supposed to be the maximum setting?
Cheers
hey man! So I figured out 'zuigers'. They are valves. So you can revalve them which is cheaper than cartridges. To be honest though the front feels fine. Will take it on a high speed run to see how it handles. As for 0-120 km/h it felt stable. let's see what 120-190 gets us :)
